Using the Liberex Cleansing Brush in your skincare routine
When you’re busy, improving your skincare routine can often get forgotten. Luckily, there are tonnes of products on the market that can help you maintain healthy skin, even if you just take a few minutes a day to use them. That’s how I recently discovered the benefits of using the Liberex Cleansing Brush in your skincare routine.
When you are thinking about improving your skincare routine, using organic skincare and cleansing is really important. I personally love the Smoothing Cleanser from Tropic Skincare. You can read my discovery of Tropic Skincare here. Recently, I’ve also added the Liberex Egg Vibrating Facial Cleansing Brush to my routine.
Vibration technology
This cleansing brush uses vibration technology which is more gentle on your skin than a spin brush. It is designed to gently cleanse and get deep into your pores. This removes dirt, dead skin, oil and make-up residues up to 6 times more effectively than a manual cleanse.
It is really impressive that the Liberex Facial Cleansing Brush is supplied with three brushes. The silicone brush head is suitable for all skin types. There is also a deep cleansing brush head and a sensitive face brush head. This is a very considerate touch as everyone’s skin is different.
There are also three intensities you can select from, ranging from weak to strong. These switch between massaging, up to exfoliating, then deep cleansing.
Using the Liberex Cleansing Brush in your skincare routine
Using it is really simple, which is great news for those of us in a rush all the time! Firstly, wet the brush head with warm water. Then apply your cleanser as you normally would to your face or directly onto the brush head.
Use the brush to clean your face. The recommended times are 20 seconds for the forehead, 20 seconds for the nose and chin, and 10 seconds for each cheek. The brush’s smart timer alerts you every 20 seconds to remind you change areas – you detect it by a small break in the motion. It also turns the brush of after 1 minute, so you don’t overdo your cleansing.
Finally rinse your face and the brush head. The brush will air dry ready for its next use. When it needs power, the brush has its charging stand, which connects to the plug socket with a USB cable.
Using the brush is really soothing and I have definitely noticed a better cleansing to my face. I try to use it most days now and I am really happy with the results.
Do dermatologists recommend facial cleansing brushes?
Yes they do. In a Glamour article, Dr Arora of the Face Bible said that “skin cleansing can be enhanced by the use of a facial cleansing brush, provided the device is gentle and it is used correctly.” Here’s the full article if you want to take a look.
