Best summer drinks

I love exploring new food and drink products. And as so many more of us are dining, relaxing and socialising at home now, I wanted to bring you a roundup of the best summer drinks I have found. I’ve discovered some fab new offerings across both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. So hopefully there will be something to suit everyone. They are perfect for a daytime tipple or your evening chillout time 🙂

Best summer drinks – non-alcoholic

Pentire Adrift is a botanical non-alcoholic spirit made from unique plants native to the North Cornwall coastline. The key botanicals include rock samphire, sage and Cornish Sea Salt. Served over ice with a good quality tonic, you can enjoy a true gin flavour, without the headache. It is delicious too 😊 and you can get 15% off your first order.

Big Drop Brewery

Big Drop Brewery is one of the world’s first dedicated alcohol-free brewers. They have recently launched a new limited edition Summer Series. Perfect for warm days and evenings, you can choose from Poolside (tropical double dry hopped IPA) and Kodama (zesty IPA).

Nim’s Infusions

Nim’s is already one of my go to brands due to their great products and eco-friendly approach. Their new Infusions rehydrate in liquid as they are air-dried fruits. Choose from lemon, lime, orange, kumquat and pink grapefruit. They can be used as garnish but are super tasty if you leave them in your water bottle to infuse for a while too.

Genie Drinks

Genie drinks sell a small and perfectly formed range of soft drinks. The added benefit is their probiotic ingredients. These, alongside the drinks’ vitamins, can help to boost immunity, mood and digestion. Pick from vegan kombucha and fruity probiotic sodas.

Best summer drinks – alcoholic

Vin Crowd

This new drinks brand is offering three summery, low calorie, low-alcohol spritz drinks. Packaged in cans, they are perfect for a picnic, a BBQ, or the garden. They are also vegan. Vin Crowd is refreshing without being too sweet, which is a hard balance to achieve.

Cider Is Wine

Cider Is Wine is a brand new concept for me. It is a quality mark for ciders and perries partially or wholly fermented (not brewed) exclusively (100%) from apples and pears – not-from-concentrate. they are gluten-free, vegan and about half the alcohol of a bottle of wine. And just as satisfying!

Canned cocktails are on trend for 2020 and Sipful is a brand new entrant to the market. These canned wines and cocktails use only natural ingredients. The range includes Mimosa, Blood Orange Mimosa and Peach Bellini, all of which are 4.5% ABV.

Tom Savano Mai Tai

Tom Savano produce high-quality, premium made, ready to pour cocktails. Their new Mai Tai is a tribute to the Caribbean – filling your glass with vibrant exotic flavours that transport you to balmy nights by the sea. I love Tom Savano, and they featured in my edible stocking fillers guide from 2019.

El Bandarra Al Fresco

Perfectly blended for outdoor living, El Bandarra Al Fresco is a natural and refreshing aperitif from Barcelona. It combines high quality garnacha wines with natural Mediterranean botanicals.

What a list of best summer drinks! Enjoy your summer sipping everyone.
