Review of the Edifier X3 earbuds

I’ve coveted earbuds for some time now, but never quite found a pair that balanced features with an affordable price. I came across a brand I hadn’t heard of before – Edifier – which seemed to offer both. So naturally, I was intrigued to give them a try.

I am now the proud owner of the Edifier X3 earbuds which you can find on Amazon. At £32.99, they are much more affordable than some competitor products and they offer a wealth of features. These are in the list below before I get into my thoughts:

  • High-Fidelity aptX decoding technology and finely tuned by a professional acoustic team
  • Bluetooth V5.0 with Qualcomm Chipset to provide a better signal transmission at a distance of up to 10m
  • Lower power consumption for 6 hours playback time and extra 18 hours with charge case
  • CVC V8.0 Noise Cancelling Isolation Microphone
  • Ergonomic, compact design with IPX5 rating
  • One-Step Pairing for a faster connection
Using the Edifier X3 earbuds

So that’s the tech side, but what about the real-life experience? First up, connectivity thanks to the one-step pairing was really easy. The 6 hours playback time is great, and more than enough for my usage. The sound quality is brilliant, and I think it is superior to standard headphones.

Other elements that I find really useful are the touch control feature, as well as the noise cancelling capabilities. The Edifier X3 earbuds are IP55. This is reassuring in case I ever end up out in the rain when using them.

They are super comfy too, and have three different size of foam tip to choose from. I find this really helpful as it can be hard to get the right fit otherwise.

I think the Edifier X3 earbuds are really impressive. They offer great quality for the price, which is exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely recommend them for anyone looking for earbuds that deliver great quality without breaking the bank.
