Messy play ideas with Zimpli Kids

The majority of little ones love messy play. As much as clearing up after them can be a nightmare, there are tonnes of benefits to messy play ideas. Which means as a toddler mama, I have come to terms with the chaos it creates!

One of my favourite brands for a messy play session is Zimpli Kids. I’ve tried lots of the excellent products, including their bath bombs, Slime, Gelli and Snoball Play. They are a lot of fun. And they don’t contain any boron. This is a toxic chemical that you definitely don’t want your kids handling. By choosing reputable brands such as Zimpli Kids, you’re making a sensible decision.

Dino Pack messy play ideas

Zimpli Kids regularly launch products so I like to keep an eye on what is new. I spotted their Dino Pack and was super happy when I was offered one for review. My daughter loves dinosaurs and mess, so it is a match made in heaven!

The kit contains an inflatable tray, 5 sachets of Gelli, and 8 play pieces (dinos and trees). The tray inflates really easily, and I always find the Gelli simple to mix too. 5 sachets gives you at least two play sessions.

My three old had tonnes of fun and was playing for a good hour and a half. It is lovely to see her enjoying herself. She loves burying the dinos and then digging them out!

Clean up

Clear up is super straightforward too. Which is big bonus. And the tray and playset can be used for other activities or topped up with more Gelli. Additional Gelli is £4.99 for a bath pack and you will only need a quarter of a pack.

One of my next messy play ideas is to use Snoball play and create a winter scene. Must remind myself to buy some arctic animals!

10/10 to Zimpli Kids for coming up with a cracking idea. It’s on my Christmas list for the kiddies in my life this year. And my messy toddler gives it a thumbs up too.

And remember I said there are lots of benefits of messy play? This is a great guide to why your toddler needs to get mucky!
