Buying artwork online from Wychwood Art

I’m always looking for ways to brighten up my home without too much expense or upheaval. Artwork is one of my favourite ways to do this. I love shopping for new pieces. And as a tired mum this is even better when I can choose in my pyjamas from the comfort of my settee!

Luckily some traditional galleries have embraced the online experience. One great place to buy artwork online is Wychwood Art.

Their physical gallery is in the Cotswolds – which is an area of the UK I love. Based in Deddington, Wychwood Art also sell at the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, London in March each year.

They represent over 350 contemporary artists and offer a free art advisory service for the artists that they represent.

Shopping with them online is a really enjoyable experience. You can search in lots of different ways, such as original artwork or prints. They offer an impressive selection of limited edition prints too. You can also categorise by price.

I recently chose this gorgeous print of Portscatho. It is a beautiful village in South Cornwall, and the print really does it justice. I love the vibrant colours and attention to detail.

The size is great – as it’s smaller, I have a lot of flexibility over where to put the picture. It is ideal to hang or have on the mantelpiece or console table. I’m so happy with my new artwork, and I’ve had tonnes of compliments on the piece too.

I’ll certainly be shopping with Wychwood Art again. I also can’t wait to visit their gallery next time I’m lucky enough to be in the Cotswolds.
