Sustainable floral gifts from Haute Florists
Making sustainable choices is an important part of my buying decisions. This is the same whether I’m treating myself or buying a gift. I have to confess I’d not really thought much about sustainable floral gifts. But luckily I have discovered Haute Florist who have done all of the hard work for us.
Sustainable floral gifts
The flowers in Haute’s bouquets are sourced from ethical farms. As a company they focus on the happiness of farm workers and the environment, delivering the best for people and the planet. This is reinforced by many of their stems coming from farms protected under the Kenyan Flower Council. This organisation enforces measures to protect these principles.
Eco-credentials
Haute Florist have many other impressive eco-credentials too. Each year they recycle 104 tonnes of green waste into compost, which is equivalent to eight double-decker buses (wow). They also recycle all of their cardboard which weighs 60 tonnes. These steps contribute towards Haute being virtually zero-landfill.
Haute have replaced ribbons with raffia, which is a recyclable form of hay. And they use sustainable wooden holders instead of ribbon ties. In addition, their individual flower food packaging is fully compostable. The ink printed on it the packaging is even dissolvable to ensure that it degrades.
I was recently sent the gorgeous Purity bouquet from Haute. Not only are the flowers stunning, it’s so good to know they are kind to the environment.

Great service
As well as caring about sustainability, Haute Florist offer fantastic service. Their bouquets are sent next day when you order by 10pm, and are always packaged beautifully. You can add extra gifts if you like too, such as chocolates and candles.
Every stem in their bouquets is carefully selected and it really shows in the quality and sophisticated arrangements offered by Haute.

I received a selection of gifted items for the purpose of this post. As always, the provision of gifted products does not affect my views which remain honest and reflect my own thoughts.
