Beautiful and sustainable jewellery from Daisy London
I try to shop as ethically as possible, even when I am treating myself. From food to beauty and clothes, my aim is to buy eco-friendly items. This includes jewellery. This is why Daisy London was an exciting find for me, as a responsible and sustainable jewellery company.
About Daisy London
Daisy London aims to create sustainable jewellery without compromising on design or quality. They have a fully traceable supply chain and ensure that their pieces are created to last.
Adding to their eco-credentials, Daisy London use 100% recycled gold and silver to craft their jewellery. Furthermore, they are a carbon positive company. This means they offset triple the amount of carbon that they generate as a company.
I was recently sent two pieces of their beautiful jewellery to try out for myself.
Sustainable jewellery ranges
The first piece is the pair of Estée Lalonde Octagonal Huggie Hoops in Sterling Silver. I love how stylish these are, while being so comfortable to wear. The detailing is gorgeous, and the shape is so simple yet unique.
The hoops are made from recycled silver so you can feel great about wearing them too.
I also have the Estée Lalonde Trinity Ring in 18Ct Gold Plate. It has a more contemporary look than the earrings, while still embracing a classic trinity style. I think is very sophisticated and classy; I’ve already had a lot of people ask me where I bought it from.
As with the earrings, it is made using recycled silver and then the 18ct gold plating.
Price and presentation
The earrings are £55 and the Trinity ring is priced at £129. For the high-quality of the jewellery, the stunning designs and great eco-credentials, I think this is a really fair price.
The jewellery is presented in a stylish soft bag, with a branded box and gift bag. These are made using sustainable materials, which makes me love Daisy even more!
I’m in love with my new sustainable jewellery and I will certainly be picking some pieces from Daisy for Christmas gifts this year.
I was sent a selection of items for the purposes of this review. As always the provision of free products or services does not influence my views, which remain my own and honest.
