Rowse ChocoBee review and serving suggestions

Honey is a staple in our house. We use it on toast, in yoghurt and in lots of recipes. We also love chocolate spread (who doesn’t?). So I was very excited to learn about a new variety, ChocoBee from Rowse.

Well-known honey brand Rowse has upped its game with this new delight. The smooth spread contains just two ingredients: 100% natural honey and UTZ-certified sustainable cocoa.

It’s not just great for breakfast, it’s become a firm dessert favourite in our house too. I love that it is full of only natural ingredients with no hidden nasties like palm oil.

Here are some of my top ways to enjoy this delicious spread:

  • Spread on toast for a classic yet Magic taste
  • Drizzled onto waffles for a tasty dessert or decadent breakfast
  • On English muffins for a fluffy treat
  • Mixed into hot milk to create a hot chocolate with a twist
  • Swirled into banana milkshake to take it up a notch
  • Spread on pancakes as a fantastic alternative to the classics
  • As a dip for fresh fruit such as strawberries
  • Mixed into porridge to add a balanced sweetness
  • As a filling for a light two layer sponge cake
  • Topped onto crumpets for an extra special breakfast
Tastes good and does good!

It’s great to know that Rowse ChocoBee supports good causes too. The honey is 100% natural and the cocoa is sustainably farmed, certified by UTZ, a program that’s part of the Rainforest Alliance.

Rowse ChocoBee is also part of Hives for Lives, a programme of vital initiatives that protects honey bees and supports beekeepers around the world. And an extra thumbs up as all packaging for Rowse ChocoBee is 100% recyclable and is perfect for reuse for the creatives among us.

Rowse ChocoBee is approx £2.49 for a 340g jar and is available at a number of retailers including Tesco and Sainsbury’s.
