We used to have going out-out, now it’s all about staying in-in. While some of us enjoy the comforts of being at home, I’m sure lots would prefer to be dining out if they could. Either way, it is nice to treat ourselves for a special occasion. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I’ve put together my ideas for a romantic meal at home. These will arrive at your door, with minimal preparation required.

Noble House Prepared

Noble House Prepared offers upmarket dining from the comfort of your own home.

Choose from a range of dishes including harissa and pomegranate chicken, chateaubriand fillet of beef and vegetarian butternut squash and goats cheese pithivier. You can also order starters and desserts. Think decadent Intense Chocolate Pot with Cream and Lime.

Antona at Home

Antona at Home is an exquisite home food delivery range that brings the luxury of Michelin starred dining to your door. Their specific Valentine’s menu offers five courses. There are options for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

Each course is pre-prepared by a team of top chefs. This means minimum effort required to put together an exquisite meal for two. Prices start at £60pp. Seasonal Antona at Home set menus are also available, at £45pp.

Mandira’s Kitchen creates top quality Indian ready meals using local ingredients. If you’re a spice fan, this is the perfect Valentine’s culinary experience for you.

Bringing some spice to Valentines Day, Mandira’s Kitchen have prepared a set menu. This includes a selection of samosas; Chicken Rezala / Paneer Butter Masala; Cashew and Cranberry Pulao. And there’s more – Alu Gobi; Dal Makhani; Naan Bread; Spiced Crackers; Tomato and Date Chutney. For dessert, Mango and Cardamom Gelato; Chai and heart shaped chilli chocolates.
