Christmas Gift Ideas from the Prezzybox Jingle Mingle
It’s no secret that since having my daughter my evenings have generally been spent in my pyjamas, ready to hit the hay from about 6pm. However now that her sleeping (and therefore mine) is a lot better, I’ve been starting to venture out a bit more, so when I was invited to the Prezzybox bloggers Jingle Mingle, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to throw on my gladrags and head off for a fun evening.
Prezzybox are a online gift retailer who I have ordered through many times before, so it was very exciting to have the chance to meet the team and find out more about the company. The event was all about bringing bloggers together, engaging with the brand and seeing some of the gifts on offer from them this Christmas.
There was heaps of cool stuff and present ideas at the event, as well as two great workshops. The first was a flatlay workshop with Prezzybox’s in-house photographer who showed us to create the perfect flatlay (I will definitely need some practice before I unleash my attempts on my readers!).
The second workshop was run by super-lovely brand Wild Olive, who produce bath and body and skincare products that are handmade using all natural ingredients, free of chemicals. We got to make our own bath melt which was great – mine turned out okay although nothing compared to the beauties that are made by their team! You can see the difference in the photos below :o)
We also had two fun and engaging talks from Prezzybox MD Zak Edwards and YouTuber Eltoria.
As I already mentioned there were tonnes of gift ideas to scope out, loads of which were food and drink related, so right up my street for my blog. It’s hard to choose just my top 3 but here goes – I’ve included links to be helpful (not requested by Prezzybox and not affiliate links):
Personalised letterbox wine – I’ve blogged before about my love of letterbox gifts (I hate missing parcels and having to trek to the post office!) and this is such a fab idea. Alcohol delivered through your door, with your name on it so no-one can drink and claim they didn’t know it was yours?! Awesomeness.
Aurora Oil Slick Cocktail Glasses – This set of glasses are coated with an ‘oil-slick’ multi-colour design so an array of colours shimmer through, including purple, green and gold. Perfect for any sophisticated parties you may throw or just a night in where you feel like getting glamorous. My dark photo does not do these beauties justice.
Tequila Sunrise Cocktail Set – At first I was a bit confused about this as it doesn’t actually come with any alcohol, but then I realised for £15 you get two glasses, dressings and a recipe for Tequila Sunrise, so packaged up with a bottle of tequila this would make a super fun gift for anyone who likes cocktails but doesn’t want to queue at a busy bar (reference the beginning of my post about most of my evenings being spent in my pyjamas).
As an extra throw-in I would definitely recommend the Wild Olive products, especially if you are buying for vegans. I’m not big into bath and body products but their range is divine – I used my bath melt recently and it left my skin feeling so soft.
By the way, over on the Prezzybox website they also have a cool and helpful section for Secret Santa gifts under £5, perfect for those office present exchanges where you are completely stuck for ideas!
And here are a few more snaps from the night…
So a big thank you to Prezzybox for a fun night, tonnes of gift ideas for the festive season and beyond, and the chance to meet lots of lovely new bloggers.
